There were plenty of activities at Lambert Wilson Park for residents to enjoy on Canada Day especially for the children.

The Rotary Club of Aurora were very much a part of the Canada Day Celebrations hosting the Beer Garden at the Dance in The Park on Friday night, participating in the Parade Saturday morning and running the Horseshoe Tournament on Snday. The winners were;
Champions: Steve Renaud and Chris VanWinckle
Consolation: Jim Davis and Robert Forget

The Optimists, seen here taking a well deserved break, were also very involved with the weekend participating in both the Dance Friday and the celebrations on Saturday

There was also a variety of music as the Glenn Marais Band performed as did Hot Rocks a Rolling Stones cover band. The Aurora Teen Idol was contested and of course there was a late evening fireworks display
